Hunter Releases New PGV Jar-Top Valve for Residential Sites

Hunter Industries has expanded its popular PGV valve line with the addition of the new PGV Jar-Top Series. The twist-on, twist-off "jar-top" allows easier access to the valve's inner mechanisms during routine maintenance. Because no tools are required to remove the jar-top bonnet, on-site service time can be trimmed.

Designed for residential installations, the PGV Jar-Top Series is available as a 1" plastic globe valve with optional flow control. The series features a wide range of models, depending on installation requirements, including threaded for 1" inlet and outlets; slip for connections to PVC pipe; male x barb for poly piping; and male x male for use with "union style" manifold tees.

The PGV Jar-Top features a fully-encapsulated solenoid for dependable operation, and it is pressure-rated to 150 psi with a flow of 1 to 30 gpm. Internal bleed keeps the valve box dry during manual operation.
