Pro-C Now Expandable to 15 Stations

Built-in reliability, broad programming options and the ease and convenience of modularity are the things that make the Hunter Pro-C such a hit with contractors everywhere. Now, these same benefits are being offered to an even wider audience as Hunter makes it possible to create a 15-station version of the popular controller.

With the introduction of a new 9-station module (which installs in place of two of the 3-station modules), those landscapes that required more stations than the Pro-C’s previous maximum of 12 can now take advantage of all the great features that this controller offers:

• 3 independent programs (A, B, C) each with up to 4 start times…to handle multiple daily waterings
• long station run times…for deep soaking needs and drip systems
• interval watering, true odd/even or day of the week scheduling…to accommodate virtually any irrigation restrictions your area might have
• an “event day off” feature…designates one specified day of the week for non-watering (perfect for regular maintenance or special events)
• superior surge protection…shields microcircuits against electrical spikes
• self-diagnostic short circuit detection system…skips shorted stations and continues watering the rest of the system
• a removable front panel…puts the power of desktop programming right in your hands

Rounding out the numerous features of the Pro-C are a heavy-duty locking plastic cabinet, Hunter’s “one touch” manual start and rapid advance and the unit’s compatibility with all models of Mini-Clik® weather sensors and Hunter remote controls.

The modular Pro-C also makes maintaining inventory easy. In all, there are only four different units to stock: indoor cabinets, outdoor cabinets, and 3-station and 9-station plug-in modules. So, there’s no need to bring along the typical variety of 3-, 6-, 9-, 12- and 15-station units in both indoor and outdoor models to see which one is best for a job.
