Pro-C, Hunter’s Top-Selling Controller, Adds New Product EnhancementsIt’s no surprise that the Pro-C has come to be Hunter’s most popular controller. Boasting a complete line of modular, full-featured controllers for residential and light commercial applications, the Pro-C has been one of Hunter’s best-selling products since it was introduced and has given the company a solid reputation for quality in the controller market. With its ability to customize to the particular size required (from 3 to 15 stations) to meet a specific landscape’s needs, the Pro-C makes it possible for a contractor to always have “the right choice” for the job. Starting with a base unit of 3 stations, the controller can be expanded up to 15 zones simply by adding 3- or 9-station plug-in modules. Modularity also makes inventory a breeze—there are only three different units to stock (indoor cabinets, outdoor cabinets, and station modules). Of course, modularity isn’t all this controller has to offer. There are a host of great features, highlighted by the latest new additions:
Improved Module Design. Expansion modules are now able to operate with the new Power-Lock slide feature. The PCM-900 has been redesigned so it can only be installed in its proper position (the upper two expansion slots). The new BLACK modules will retrofit into any Pro-C controller, regardless of manufacture date. However, the older GRAY modules will not work in the newer (date code September 2006 forward) Pro-C units. Added Ground Lug. This new feature will enhance the surge and lightning strike resistance of the Pro-C. These latest additions complement the impressive features Pro-C has always had, including three programs with multiple start times, independent day scheduling options, “one touch” manual start and rapid advance, programmable event day off, a heavy-duty locking plastic cabinet, and superior surge protection. For maximum flexibility for landscapes that require a minimal number of stations, stop by your authorized Hunter distributor and pick up a Pro-C today. |
