ICC Controller’s Internal Junction Box for Primary Power Made Easier to InstallThe terminal block for primary power connection has been eliminated on models of the ICC controller built for the American market, effective with units manufactured in 2002. This change will now simplify installation for domestic contractors, allowing primary power connections to be made directly with wire nuts.
All ICC controllers previously had a terminal block in place to meet the requirements of markets outside the United States. Until this year, only one version of the ICC was produced to meet the needs of both domestic and international customers. Hunter has created a new model number for the version of the ICC that is sold outside the U.S. that still contains the terminal block. The controller will still offer the option of 110 volt or 220 volt power in one unit – allowing installation convenience regardless of power supply. |
