Installing the SmartPort® Wiring Harness

1. Install a " female threaded “Tee” in the field wiring conduit approximately 12" below the controller.

NOTE: The harness may be installed outdoors by bringing the conduit through an exterior wall, then installing the appropriate fitting.

2. Feed the red, white, and blue wires of the SmartPort through the base of the “Tee” and into the controller wiring compartment as shown in the following figures.

NOTE: For installations where the receiver will be installed permanently on an outside wall, make certain that the SmartPort is the version with an o-ring seal.
