Pro-C

Modularity Offers Complete Customization From 3 to 15 Stations

Packed with the most advanced features in residential control, the modular design of the Pro-C offers the flexibility to change the number of station outputs (from 3 to 15) at any time. That way, upgrades can be made to a landscape without having to change out the controller. From a contractor’s standpoint, this also means that only the controller and modules need to be stocked, so maintaining inventory is simple and easy. Modularity isn’t all this controller has to offer. It is also compatible with Hunter’s Solar Sync ET sensor. With the revolutionary Solar Sync sensor, the Pro-C is converted into a “smart controller”, which regulates irrigation runtimes based on locally measured weather. Pro-C is also compatible with Hunter remotes for quick, wireless irrigation activation.

Facepack Upgrade (P/N 526205)

Pro-C now has the ability to control lighting. A facepack upgrade adds FX lighting control, with the ability to operate up to 3 lighting transformers using 3 new lighting programs (L1, L2, L3). Creating a schedule for a lighting program is as easy as creating a schedule for irrigation, using the same, familiar Pro-C programming features.

Easy Retrieve™ Memory [1]

A manual back-up utility that stores complete controller scheduling and setup information in back-up memory. This allows the saved watering schedule to be restored at any time. This can be used to set a controller back to its initial settings after tampering or at the beginning of a new season.

One touch manual start and advance [2]

Allows the user to manually start/test any station by simply pressing and holding the right arrow button, and then adding a run time to the appropriate station.

Rain sensor bypass [3]

Toggle switch that controls the input signal from the weather sensor (Rain-Clik, Freeze-Clik, Wind-Clik, etc). When the switch is set to “Bypass” the controller will ignore the signal from the sensor and irrigate normally.

Programmable rain delay [4]

The Programmable Rain Delay feature incorporates a user specified number of days to keep the controller in the OFF mode, then allows for the system to automatically revert back to scheduled irrigation. This will prevent watering during an extended period of inclement weather, but will resume watering automatically without requiring a return visit to the controller. The controller displays the number of days remaining before watering resumes.

Quick Check [5]

The Quick Check feature makes a quick diagnosis of field wiring issues easy to assess with the push of a button. Quick Check displays an ERR message when a field wiring short is detected on a particular station number.

Non-volatile memory [6]

This feature offers protection against unreliable power, retaining current time, date, and program data.

Automatic Short Circuit Protection [7]

Automatic short circuit protection is a feature found in all Hunter AC powered controllers. This feature automatically detects electrical faults, which are typically caused by wiring issues. Stations that have shorts detected are skipped, allowing watering to continue for those stations where faults are not detected. There are no fuses to blow or internal circuit breakers to trip that can result in completely disabling irrigation.

Seasonal Adjustment: Global or automatic updates with Solar Sync [8]

This feature allows for quick adjustments to irrigation run times through a percentage scale. During peak season, set the seasonal adjustment to 100%. If weather conditions require less water, enter the appropriate percentage value (i.e. 50%) to cut down irrigation run times without the need to adjust each station in the program.  This model offers two different ways to use Seasonal Adjustment to reduce water usage: Global and Daily.

Global: The Global option provides a Seasonal Adjustment percentage to all station Run Times on all of the controller's Programs.

Daily: With the addition of a Solar Sync ET Sensor, the controller has the ability to automatically implement daily adjustments based on measured local weather.

Delay Between Stations [9]

A delay in watering between individual stations as the controller moves from one to the next. The delay may range from a few seconds, to permit slow-closing valves time to shut down, or much longer to allow pressure tanks, etc., to refill or recharge.

Sensor Programmability [10]

The ability to specify which program or stations will be shut down in response to a specific sensor alarm. This allows stations or programs unaffected by the sensor to continue automatic operations.

Non-Water Days [11]

Day(s) of the week can be programmed Off in advance, so that irrigation does not occur regardless of program interval schedules. For example, if the gardener mows the lawn on Saturday, the Non-Water Days feature allows Saturday to be programmed Off, so that watering will not occur.

Total Run Time Calculator [12]

This feature adds up all run times, and calculates the total duration of a program or to instantly display the full length of an irrigation cucle. This information can be used to determine the time of day at which watering will end.
