Can the ET System's anemometer be mounted in a different location than the ET Sensor?
Hunter's ET System has a wind option that utilizes an anemometer to read local wind conditions. In some cases site conditions may require the anemometer to be located away from the ET Sensor. If this is the case, using 18AWG wire the anemometer can be mounted up to 100ft (30.34m) from the ET Sensor. Hunter does not provide a remote installation bracket, therefore an alternative installation method will be necessary. This procedure will however void any manufacturing warranty, ideal installation calls for the anemometer to be installed as detailed in the ET System owner's manual. |  |
