The easiest way to make adjustments on your Hunter rotor is to use a Hunter adjustment wrench. This adjustment wrench is available through the Hunter online store. There are two adjustments that can be made on your rotor, the arc and the radius. The radius adjustment changes the distance water is going to travel out of the nozzle. Fine tuning coverage in your system can sometimes require adjustments to a rotors radius. |
Adjusting the Radius1. Insert the steel hex end (3/32" allen key) of the Hunter adjustment wrench into the radius reduction screw's socket. 2. Turning the wrench clockwise will decrease the rotors radius, counterclockwise will result in an increased distance.

Ideally the radius should be adjusted with the rotor activated. |
If an even greater radius is desired a larger nozzle will need to be installed.
