Hunter Releases First Corporate Social Responsibility Report

We are proud to announce the launch of our first Corporate Social Responsibility report. The report will be of strategic benefit to Hunter's business by serving as a baseline measure of our environmental and social impacts. Sharing how we do business is important to help us remain accountable to our corporate values of customer satisfaction, innovation, family and citizenship. The report also gives a glimpse inside our operations, and an understanding of what we are working towards as an organization.

The report covers our performance on seven major impacts: climate change and energy, water use, product responsibility, waste, community, employees, and human rights in supply chain. Below are some of the exciting targets that have come out of this report:

  • 90% diversion rate of waste to landfill by 2017
  • Surveying our top 40 suppliers on human rights by 2013
  • Increasing our supervisors' leadership and management training to 8hrs. per year by 2014
