How do I reset my Hunter controller?

SRC

  1. Unplug the controller's transformer.
  2. Press and hold down the,     and   buttons.
  3. Plug the controller's transformer back in.
  4. Release the    ,     and     buttons. The display should now show 12:00am. All the memory has been cleared and the controller may now be reprogrammed.

SRC Plus

  1. Press and hold down the    ,    and  buttons.
  2. Press and release the RESET button in the lower wiring compartment.
  3. Release the    ,    and  buttons. The display should now show 12:00am. All the memory has been cleared and the controller may now be reprogrammed.

EC

  1. Press and hold down the    ,    and  buttons.
  2. Press and release the RESET button in the lower wiring compartment.
  3. Release the    ,    and  buttons. The display should now show 12:00am. All the memory has been cleared and the controller may now be reprogrammed.

X-Core

  1. Press and hold down the    ,    and  buttons.
  2. Press and release the RESET button on the right side of the controller.
  3. When 'DONE' appears on the LCD, release the    ,    and  buttons. The display should now show 12:00am. All the memory has been cleared and the controller may now be reprogrammed.

X2

  1. Press and hold down the    ,    and  buttons.
  2. Press and release the RESET button on the right side of the controller.
  3. When 'DONE' appears on the LCD, release the    ,    and  buttons. The display should now show 12:00am. All the memory has been cleared and the controller may now be reprogrammed.

Pro-C (newer models)(with Seasonal Adjust Dial Position)

  1. Press and hold the    button.
  2. Press and release the RESET button on the back of the front panel.
  3. Wait until the display shows 12:00am.
  4. Release the    .

Pro-C (older models)(with Manual All Station dial position)

  1. Turn the dial to the RUN position.
  2. Remove the 9V battery.
  3. Hold down the     ,    and    program buttons simultaneously.
  4. While holding down the three buttons, press and release the Reset button on the back of the front panel.
  5. Release all three buttons.

ICC

  1. Turn the dial to the RUN position.
  2. Remove the 9V battery.
  3. Hold down the     ,    and    program buttons simultaneously.
  4. While holding down the three buttons, press and release the Reset button on the back of the front panel.
  5. Release all three buttons.

SVC

  1. Remove the 9V battery from the controller and wait 1 minute.
  2. Press and hold the    ,    and    buttons.
  3. Replace the 9V battery.
  4. Release the    ,    and  buttons.

NODE

  1. From the Time and Day display, press and hold the  and     keys.
  2. After two seconds the screen will go blank and 4 segments will appear. Release the keys.
  3. 12:00 will flash on the display, now the controller can be reprogrammed.

NODE-BT

  1. Connect to your controller.
  2. Navigate to More, click Controller Settings.
  3. Scroll to Factory Reset. Press Factory Reset. This process will take 1-2 minutes and erase all data on the controller.

ACC

  1. Press and hold the Programs button, and at the same time press in the recessed Reset button with the tip of a ballpoint pen.
  2. Release the Reset button and continue holding the Programs button until the Reset Memory screen appears (then release the Programs button).

The display will show the following Reset options:

Programs: Erases Day schedules, start times and run times.

Flow Totals: Clears the running flow total histories (they will restart with 0.0 for all entries), only.

Logs: Clears all Station alarm logs and Controller alarm logs.

Names: Clears all user-programmed names, including Programs, Stations, and SSG's.

All Data: Clears all of the above items, and the controller returns to the original out-of-the-box programming state.

Use the up and down arrows to highlight the desired type of Reset. Press the + button to select it.

A confirmation message will appear. If + is pressed again, the selection will be reset.

Note: None of the reset functions will erase the Easy Retrieve "backup", if one has been made.
