The Materiality Matrix below is based on the internal and external stakeholder feedback received through our CSR survey. We will use the matrix to help prioritize our sustainability initiatives as we develop our sustainability roadmap. For a look at our methodology for collecting materiality data, see our section on stakeholder engagement.

Water Use, Employee Training, and Product Safety and Stewardship emerged as Hunter’s top material issues. Fourth on the matrix was Energy Use followed by a cluster of other important issues. Because Water Use and Energy Use impact Climate Change, we consider Climate Change a focus area, as it poses a potential threat to our business, communities, and way of life. All issues shown are reported on in our 2013 report.
