Sprays - Adjusting the Radius on Spray Nozzles

The radius, or distance the water sprays on Hunter Nozzles can be adjusted by turning the center screw on top of the nozzle. This will increase or decrease the radius. All nozzles come from the factory in the fully open position (fully counterclockwise position).

Ensure that the nozzle is fully screwed down onto the pop up or shrub body assembly.

To decrease the radius, hold the top of the nozzle edge using your hand.  Next, turn the screw in the clockwise direction using a small flathead screwdriver.  If you need to reduce the radius more than 25%, install a smaller radius nozzle for this location.

NOTE: Hunter offers fixed nozzle radius sizes from 5, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 17 feet as well as short radius nozzles from 2, 4 and 6 feet. The adjustable nozzles are offered in radius of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 17 feet.
