The word USED displayed on the Pro-C Controller represents a landscape lighting station that was assigned. Once a start time is assigned to program L1, it turns station 1 from an irrigation station to a lighting station (same for L2 and L3). As a result, when creating programs for irrigation A, B, or C, station 1 will show USED since L1 has been assigned a start time. The HYDRAULIC SUMMARY is a report of exactly how the controller hydraulics are set up at the moment. It shows the connections of all flow-related objects, from MainSafe zones (if applicable), Flow Zones, Flow Sensors, P/MVs, to individual stations.
FLOW TOTALS are total amounts of water consumed over a specified time period. They may also be viewed at different levels, depending on how the controller is configured. Total Flow is counted by the Flow Zone, individual flow sensor, and MainSafe (if applicable).
The CYCLE & SOAK feature allows you to split a station’s runtime into shorter watering periods. The shorter watering periods will help prevent runoff in situations like slopes or tight soils. It is recommended that the CYCLE time is less than the station’s watering time, and the SOAK time for the water to be absorbed. The total number of cycles is determined by taking the total programmed station run time and dividing it by the CYCLE time (e.g., see chart below).
The ACC2 Controller allows you to connect up to three CLIK SENSORS. These sensor inputs are already configured as Normally Closed, but this can be changed for other types of contact closure sensor inputs to Normally Open.
After connecting a SOLAR SYNC Sensor to the controller, it is necessary to configure this in the Devices, SOLAR SYNC menu. It will take the SOLAR SYNC two or three days to register enough climate data to begin adjusting.
After connecting one or more flow sensors to the controller, the next step is to configure the sensor in the FLOW SENSORS menu. The controller has three Flow Sensor inputs built-in, but three more can be added with the A2C-F3 Flow Expansion Module. ACC2 Decoder versions may also read flow via the two-wire path when flow sensors are connected to ICD-SEN sensor decoders.
