To improve Wi-Fi visibility to the router, we recommend using the Wi-Fi extension kit (model: WIFI-EXT-KIT). This is not a signal booster, but an option to get the antenna closer to the router. Going around corners, through obstructions, or just reducing the distance are appropriate applications for this product.

The extension kit comes with two separate cables and mounting hardware to install in ¾" conduit. The thicker cable provides a 9' extension, while the thinner cable is 3.5' in length.

The base model of HCC is supplied with an ICM-800 station output module. The capacity of the controller is increased when new station modules are installed and recognized.

Standard ICM station modules are available in 4, 8, and 22 station sizes (ICM-400, ICM-800, ICM-2200). These may be added at any time after initial installation.

Note: The ICM-2200 (22 Station module) should always  be installed in the last two module slots to make it compatible.

All Hunter Industries Anti-Siphon Valves should be installed above ground and at least 6 to 12 inches above the highest sprinkler to prevent back pressure or drainage. Installations at any height lower than this may result in unsafe backflow condition. Consult your local codes to verify this height for your specific area. Do not install any other shut-off valves between the anti-siphon valve and the sprinkler heads.

Here are some tips for valve repair.

The Flow-Clik Interface Box has a System Status indicator LED that provides information on the current status of the Flow-Clik system.

  • RED indicates an unacceptable amount of water was flowing and the system has been shut down. (Water flow exceeded the calibrated maximum for a time period longer than the startup delay).
  • GREEN indicates power is applied to the sensor, but no flow is occurring
USA

The Flow-Clik monitors for a high flow condition, shutting down the system or individual zone when overflow occurs. Once the system has been shut off due to a high flow condition, the Flow-Clik turns the system back on automatically after a pre-selected amount of time has passed. By waiting out a selected amount of time allows for the system to resume watering areas that may not be affected by the “problem.”

The high velocities that are common during initial activation of an irrigation cycle could cause the Flow-Clik to sense a “high flow” situation (primarily due to air trapped within the system) and subsequently shut down the irrigation system at the beginning of every cycle. The Flow-Clik addresses the problem by providing a programmable Startup Delay to allow the system to stabilize prior to the Flow-Clik monitoring for high flow conditions.

Using the Flow-Clik Interface Box, the sensor is calibrated by pressing the Calibrate button while the highest flow zone is operating.  While the system is learning the flow, the System Status Indicator light will be yellow.  After a 10 second period of learning it will begin to monitor system flow.
