The Pro-C controller is supplied with a factory-installed base module for up to 4 stations on the PC-400 and up to 3 stations on the older PC-300. Additional modules may be added in increments of 3 stations (PCM-300) or a single 9-station (PCM-900) to expand the controller’s station capability to 15-16 stations. Additional modules are sold separately. After inserting station modules, pressing the reset button should be done to allow full recognition.  Below you will find information on the compatibility of different modules for both the PC-300 and PC-400 controllers.

The chart below indicates the maximum wire runs that can be used when installing Hunter AC solenoid valves with controllers. The example in the chart below demonstrates the most commonly used wire size for station control and ground wire ( e.g.,12 AWG = 3390 feet).

The ACC2 Controller can have a maximum of 64 RUN TYPES (events) for each program that may consist of a station, a block (a group of stations), and/or a station delay.

A basic program requires a START TIME, station Run Time, and Water Days to operate automatically. This is where basic automatic irrigation is set up. There are 32 possible automatic irrigation programs with each operating up to 10 Start Times.

FLOW MANAGER runs simultaneous stations to reach a programmable flow rate target. It allows the controller to decide which stations to run, to keep the total flow as close to the pipe design capacity as possible, and shorten the overall watering time. Using this feature does NOT require a flow sensor, but it must have station flow values configured. If flow learning via a sensor is not available, approximate values may be entered manually.

USA

A BLOCK is an electronic group of stations that runs at the same time, for the same run time, within a program (Blocks replace “SSGs” in original ACC).

USA

The primary use for this setting is to allow stations to be named. Most other functions are described in more detail in the Flow Operations section.
