Features
ICC2 is a value-packed, light-to-mid size commercial irrigation controller that delivers more than you expect, just like its famous predecessor. It is designed to control larger projects (up to 54 stations) and offers the water savings you expect from a Hunter controller.
ICC2 can run any two of its four automatic programs simultaneously, providing flexible and efficient watering options. The ICC2 facepack and station output modules are also compatible with original ICC controllers, with upgrade kits available for retrofitting legacy ICC systems.
ICC2 controllers are compatible with Centralus Irrigation Management Software, with three connectivity methods for a variety of applications (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and 4G LTE Cellular); When adding Centralus to standalone ICC2 systems, users can also enable critical flow monitoring capabilities using HFS or HC Flow Meter sensors.
ICC2 controllers are prewired for remote control with Hunter ROAM and ROAM-XL transmitters, and have built-in Solar Sync® for automatic water savings, with an optional sensor. ICC2 is available as a plastic outdoor wall mount, metal outdoor wall mount, stainless steel wall mount, or plastic pedestal. Optional matching metal pedestals in gray or stainless are also available.
Key Benefits
Advanced Features
By adding a Solar Sync™ to your Hunter controller, it transforms into a smart controller using local weather conditions to tailor watering schedules to actual conditions on the site. A Hunter controller with Solar Sync has been independently proven to have a detailed list of water saving features and has been approved by the EPA as a WaterSense Smart Watering Controller. When adding any Centralus communication module to an ICC2 controller, users also gain a flow sensor input for system-level flow monitoring and reporting. View flow rates in real time, track historical flow totals, and prevent water waste and landscape erosion with automatic high-flow shutdown alerts pushed to your smartphone.
The QuickCheck feature makes field wiring issues easy to assess with the push of a button. QuickCheck displays an ERR message when a field wiring short is detected on a particular station number.
Automatic short circuit protection is a feature found in all Hunter AC powered controllers. This feature automatically detects electrical faults, which are typically caused by wiring issues. Only affected stations are skipped, allowing all other stations to water normally as programmed.
This feature allows for quick adjustment to irrigation run times based on seasonal weather conditions.
Global: The Global option provides a Seasonal Adjustment percentage to all station Run Times on all of the controller's Programs.
Daily: With the addition of a Solar Sync ET Sensor, the controller has the ability to automatically implement daily adjustments based on measured local weather.
This calculates the total duration of a program, based on all of its station run times. This can be used to calculate the end time of a program.
