MP - Precipitation Rates for Side Strip MP Rotator

When using the side strip nozzles, there are several different configurations that can be done with any given design. For this reason, we do not publish a PRECIPITATION RATE for these models. We would recommend using the TOTAL AREA METHOD to calculate your rate.

Using Total Area Method

The precipitation rate for a “system” is the average precipitation rate of all sprinklers in an area, regardless of the spacing, flow rate, or arc for each head. The Total Area Method calculates all the flows of all the heads in any given area.

The flow rates (GPM) in the chart below can be used to complete the calculation of the precipitation rate.
